Lucy Duncan has been a professional storyteller since the 1990's. Recently she has begun working with Quaker meetings, helping Friends share stories of their spiritual experiences. Lucy now serves as Friends Liaison for the American Friends Service Committee. in the Breaking Light, we find a call to action made personal through Lucy's storytelling skills. She brings together her own story, stories she has brought back from the World Conference of Friends in Kenya, vignettes and concepts from the work of writer David Abram and her understanding of our Quaker ethos, to forge a call for hope and active response in the face of the challenges facing us today.
