Each month, Friends Journal introduces readers to books about or related to Quaker experiences and values. The books reviewed in the October issue include Injustice, the story of the U.S. Government's prosecution of members of the Holy Land Foundation, which was the largest Islamic charity in America before it was forced to shut down in 2001. The list also includes Radical Friend, a biography of Amy Kirby Post. Post's life story is a very timely read, as she was a Quaker activist who, with Lucretia Mott and Susan B. Anthony, championed women's rights, including shepherding women out of abusive relationships.
