Windows and Mirrors
"Windows and Mirrors" is a traveling exhibit of artists and children's depictions of the war in Afghanistan. These "windows" on a war-torn country are also "mirrors" reflecting our identity as a nation at war. Active peacemaking involves making known what is hidden, and that is what the artists in this exhibition have tried to do. Each of the 38 panels is shown in color and there is an explanation of the image and biography of the artist who created it.
