I'm a self-avowed foodie, with a passion for cooking, eating, growing produce, and visiting food markets when I travel. Truly memorable meals transport me. I've chowed down in Tuscany though my butt was planted firmly in a chair in Philadelphia. Another time, on lunch break during a particularly grueling work week (before I came to FGC, of course) I closed my eyes and dined in Kyoto.
Like those memorable meals, my favorite books are ones that transport me to another place or time. Do you have favorite books in that way? Let us know.
