Once Upon a Conflict: A Fairytale Manual of Conflict Resolution
This little book is back popular demand. A fairytale manual of conflict resolution for all ages, this book uses familiar stories to help readers realise that conflict is not always a bad thing. Conflict can release creative energy, lead to the birth of new ideas. It can bring people together in a joint enterprise to find a solution, even if they were on opposing sides. It can also be very destructive and violent. Tom Leimdorfer is a former head teacher of Sidcot Quaker School. Tom also worked for the Quakers as a pioneer of peace education, and on issues of conflict and peacebuilding in regions such as Croatia, his native Hungary, and the former Soviet Union. Once upon a conflict is inspired by Tom’s belief that while we can’t individually put an end to continued persecution, we can all be agents of change.
