Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:00 to 4:00 pm EST. We welcome walk-in business, particularly in our newly renovated space, with a place for a lovely book display. We do work at a brisk pace to keep up with mail orders, so if you’d like our undivided attention for a period of time, we recommend that you make an appointment.

We accept: Visa, Mastercard and Discover for all types of orders. We will bill meetings, bookstores and other institutional accounts, but please call us first to set this up.
Order by Telephone: Dial our toll free number, 1-800-966-4556 during business hours (see above).

Order via E-mail: at bookstore@fgcquaker.org. Please include quantity, your name, shipping and billing address, and a telephone number. For orders to private individuals we will call you for a credit card.

Order on-line: This website, www.quakerbooks.org, is fully searchable and has secure credit card processing.

Make checks payable in U.S. funds to QuakerBooks of FGC. Most orders are processed within 2 business days after receipt. Due to changes in availability and cost at the publisher, items are subject to backorder and prices may change without notice.

Order by Fax: Fax your order to us with a credit card or purchase order to 215-561-0759.

Rush Orders: We can process your order within 24 hours just for asking if you call us at the above number. UPS delivery usually takes three to seven days. If you require next day air or second day air delivery, you will be charged actual postage plus a $4.50 handling charge.

Shipping and Handling Charges: We charge based on the order total. See our shipping policy. We use both USPS and UPS. If you have a preference, please let us know. Packages to PO boxes go by USPS.

Meeting Book Tables: There are many easy and low maintenance ways to establish a book table and it’s a great way to get literature into the hands of Friends. QuakerBooks of FGC offers a 15% discount on titles purchased for a continuously maintained book table. Browse our suggestions on how to set up a meeting book table.

Spiritual Formation, Study Groups and Monthly Meeting Book Groups: QuakerBooks of FGC offers discounts for spiritual formation groups, study groups and meeeting book groups. We offer 15% on all titles. See our Book Groups section for more information on Book Groups.

Discount Schedule: Bookstores: QuakerBooks of FGC is the sole wholesale distributor of Philadelphia Yearly Meeting, Quaker Press of FGC, and Listening Spirituality I & II. PYM, FGC and Listening Spirituality materials purchased for resale with a resale license receive the following discounts: for 1-4 single or mixed titles 15%, for 5 or more single or mixed titles 40%. We also offer a 10% discount to bookstores on all other books. We ship by UPS whenever possible. Actual freight will be charged. Friends Meeting continuously maintained book tables or study groups: 15% discount on all titles purchased for these purposes. Billing is net 90 days.

Teacher Discounts: We offer public school and Friends school educators a 15% discount on books purchased for classroom use.

Bulk: 10 or more copies of any single FGC or PYM title (except tracts) receives a 15% discount, 10 or more copies of a single title published by any other publisher receives a 10% discount.

Consignments or Special Event Book Tables: QuakerBooks of FGC offers book consignments for yearly and quarterly meetings, weekend retreats, peace fairs, outreach events, conferences and other special events. You can offer a selection of materials at very little financial risk to you. We send you the books, you sell what you can, send back the leftovers and we bill you for what sold less 10%. We ask for 6 weeks notice.

Return Policy: If you are unhappy with any item you order, please return it within 30 days and we will credit your account for the item, but not for shipping and handling. Please send along a note of explanation, as your comments help us to serve you better in the future. Also, pack returned items carefully as they must arrive in resaleable condition.
